Adopt a book

If you do not have any New Years resolutions yet, this might give you an idea. The British Library makes it possible to adopt books out of their enormous collection. At the moment you can pick out of 200 titles. The more money you donate, the more credit you get. The program starts at 25 pounds. For this you get a certificate that notes your name and the details of the book. If you give more, you can even get a plaque in the library itself.
